Qualified accountants and auditors are preferred for this role.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><b>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Manage Accounts:<\/b>\u00a0Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting. \u00a0Handle general accounting tasks, including preparing and reconciling financial statements and Tax declarations.<\/li>\n<li><b>Closing Activities:<\/b>\u00a0Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings in accordance with IFRS standards.<\/li>\n<li><b>Reporting &amp; Analysis:<\/b>\u00a0Prepare, record, analyze, and report financial data, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of accounting records.<\/li>\n<li><b>Ensure Compliance<\/b>: Maintain accurate records and verify transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting policies.<\/li>\n<li><b>Support Audits:<\/b>\u00a0Assist in internal and external audits and contribute to various projects as needed.<\/li>\n<li><b>Stakeholder Communication:<\/b>\u00a0Engage with internal and external stakeholders to address all financial accounting-related matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><b>Skills<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><b>Qualifications and Skills<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA) is preferable.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience in the aviation industry is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of local and international taxes, including corporate tax, VAT, double taxation treaties, and more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><b>Other Preferred Qualifications<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Qualified accountants and auditors with relevant certifications and experience.<\/p>\n<p>Experience working in a multinational company or group of companies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description: General Accountant Position: Accountant Location: UAE Industry: Aviation Group of Companies Job Summary We\u2019re looking for a passionate Accountant to join our team and play a crucial role in driving our financial success.
