Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Steward to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dishware. This crucial role is focused exclusively on ensuring a hygienic and efficient kitchen environment through meticulous dishwashing and comprehensive cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities:

Dishwashing Excellence:

• Operate and maintain commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Thoroughly wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils according to established standards.
• Ensure all washed items are dried and stored correctly and promptly.
• Monitor detergent and sanitizer levels and replenish as needed.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Kitchen Manager.

Kitchen Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen work surfaces, including counters, tables, and equipment exteriors.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors, ensuring they are free of spills and debris.
• Empty trash and recycling bins regularly and ensure proper disposal.
• Clean and maintain walk-in refrigerators and freezers.
• Assist with basic cleaning tasks as directed by the Head Chef, such as cleaning walls, shelves, and storage areas.
• Ensure the proper storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.

Adherence to Hygiene and Safety Standards:

• Follow all established health and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Report any safety hazards or concerns to the Head Chef.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ﷼1,500.00 per month
