We are seeking an organized and efficient Laundry Assistant Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
In this role, you will support the Laundry Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining a smooth workflow in our laundry facility.
โข Assist in managing daily laundry operations and staff scheduling
โข Supervise and train laundry attendants to maintain high standards of cleanliness and efficiency
โข Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
โข Ensure proper operation and maintenance of laundry equipment
โข Implement and enforce health and safety regulations in the laundry facility
โข Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner
โข Collaborate with other departments to meet the laundry needs of the organization
โข Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency
โข Prepare reports on laundry operations, productivity, and quality metrics
โข Fill in for the Laundry Manager in their absence
Qualifications
โข High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
โข 2-3 years of experience in laundry operations or hospitality industry
โข Previous supervisory experience preferred
โข Proficiency in operating and maintaining various laundry equipment
โข Strong knowledge of laundry processes and textile care
โข Excellent organizational and time management skills
โข Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
โข Strong customer service orientation
โข Proficient in basic computer skills, including MS Office and laundry management software
โข Familiarity with health and safety regulations in laundry operations
โข Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
โข Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
โข Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
