HOTEL Heritage Grand Perast has a total of 130 rooms, 2 restaurants, SPA center with treatment rooms, sauna, indoor and outdoor pool, and is looking for a Receptionist with experience.
– Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, cookies, bread, and desserts.
– Design and decorate pastries using icing, glazes, and other toppings to enhance presentation.
– Develop new recipes and improve existing ones to keep up with trends and customer preferences.
– Manage inventory of ingredients, ensuring freshness and reducing waste.
– Supervise and train junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
– Collaborate with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to create seasonal menus and special event desserts.
– Monitor baking techniques and adjust ingredients or methods as needed to maintain consistency.
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food storage and allergen management.
– Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role.
– Culinary degree or certification in pastry arts is a plus.
– Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and presentation skills.
– Creativity and attention to detail in dessert design and plating.
– Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
– Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
The Pastry Chef is responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
This role requires creativity, precision, and strong baking skills to ensure high-quality products that meet the establishment’s standards.
The Pastry Chef will oversee the pastry section, manage ingredient inventory, and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
