Job Summary: As a waiter/waitress, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and present menus.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and ensure guests needs are met.
- Check on guests periodically to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Process payments and handle cash or credit transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other waitstaff to ensure smooth service.
- Upsell food and beverage items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables before and after service.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality is a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Excellent English language, Arabic language is preferred as well.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
- Basic math skills for processing payments.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations.
