Roles and Responsibilities
Our client, a leading and highly reputed name in bakery ingredients and products, operating since 25+ years across 10 countries, are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Food Technologist with a strong background in sales to industrial and semi-industrial bakeries across KSA.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of bakery and pastry production lines, micro ingredients, and process improvement strategies tailored for large-scale bakery operations.
Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and technical support of bakery and pastry ingredients to industrial and semi-industrial bakeries.
- Engage with key accounts.
- Offer technical consultation to clients on optimizing recipes and formulations using micro ingredients and premixes.
- Understand and advise on large-line and semi-line production systems for baked goods (bread, cakes, pastries, etc.).
- Coordinate with R&D teams to tailor ingredient solutions based on client production requirements.
- Stay updated on food safety standards, shelf-life optimization, and ingredient innovations relevant to industrial bakery operations.
- Prepare technical documentation, application trials, and product demos as part of the sales process.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical or sales role focused on industrial bakery ingredients.
- Strong understanding of micro ingredients, emulsifiers, enzymes, improvers, and functional blends.
- Previous experience dealing with high-volume bakery clients in KSA or GCC is preferred.
- Ability to travel across KSA for client meetings.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
