Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and professional Male Massage Therapist to join our wellness team and deliver high-quality therapeutic treatments to support the recovery, relaxation, and well-being of our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and various massage modalities, with the ability to customize sessions based on individual client needs and health conditions.
The therapist must maintain a clean, calm, and professional atmosphere while ensuring each client feels safe, respected, and well-cared for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue, Swedish, sports, and therapeutic treatments based on client preferences and needs
- Conduct consultations to understand client concerns, health history, and treatment goals
- Provide professional guidance on post-massage care, wellness, and self-care routines
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of treatment rooms and equipment before and after sessions
- Ensure client confidentiality, comfort, and satisfaction during all sessions
- Collaborate with other wellness and fitness staff to support integrated client care
- Maintain accurate records of services provided, feedback, and client progress
- Uphold safety, hygiene, and licensing standards at all times
- Promote wellness services and contribute to a positive and professional brand image
Qualifications:
- Certified Massage Therapist with a valid license (as per local regulations)
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in massage therapy
- Proficient in multiple massage modalities (e.g., sports, deep tissue, myofascial, relaxation)
- Good understanding of human anatomy, muscular systems, and common musculoskeletal issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, respectful, and client-centered demeanor
- Physically fit and able to perform long massage sessions as needed
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- CPR and First Aid certified (preferred)
Skills
- Experience working in fitness clubs, luxury spas, or wellness centers
- Knowledge in other wellness services (e.g., cupping, dry needling, stretching, massage and manual therapy techniques)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Experience with athletes or sports recovery therapy
