General Driver

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Driver to join our team in the Gulf region.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in driving heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and other specialized vehicles.

The candidate must have a valid driver’s license and a proven track record of safe driving practices.

The candidate must also have knowledge of traffic rules and regulations, as well as the ability to read and interpret maps and GPS systems.

Candidate should have a valid or expired Saudi License.

Food, Accommodation, and transportation from the company.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy-duty vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
• Transport goods and materials to and from designated locations
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is properly secured
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, such as checking oil and fluid levels, brakes, and tires
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or mechanical problems to the supervisor
• Follow all traffic rules and regulations, including driving within speed limits and obeying traffic signals
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, including mileage and fuel consumption
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers

Skills and Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in driving heavy-duty vehicles
• Excellent knowledge of traffic rules and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret maps and GPS systems
• Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina and strength to load and unload cargo
• Flexibility to work long hours and on weekends, if required
• Knowledge of basic English language
